Navigating
Navigating in walk Mode
In walk mode ,you can walk forward and backward (backward in advanced mode only ) as well as turn right or left as you walk aong the horizontal plane.before using the Walk navigation mode , you must be in a perspective view (View->render Style->Perspective).
Navigating in Fly Mode.
In Fly mode You can move upward or downward on any horizontal view plane as you move forward or backward.
Viewing Objects
Press and hold don middle buttom,then drag} pan
Press and hold down the middle mouse button,then the left (or right ) mouse buttom,then drag.}
Press and hold down the middle mouse buttom then click the left mouse ,then drag (still holding the middle mouse buttom down)
Press and hold down CLTR and the middle mouse buttom ,then drag.
Fit all in zooms the current view out so that all the document contents fit into the space avaiable in the geometry area.
Normal View,then select a plane
The object is projected onto the seected plane so you can now view along a normal to the plane.
Importance Of 3d Compass
1) Manipulate viewpoints using the mouse and compass:this is another way of panning and roatating all objects in the document at the same time.
2) Move and rotate non-constrained objects using the mouse and compass.
3) Move and rotate non-constrained objects the Edit................Contextual Command.
4) Lock the compass orientation.
5) Set the plane in which you move object paralle to the screen
6) Switch the privileged plane to the XZ or YZ planes of the compass.

Dragging And Dropping Command
To Drag and drop command onto objects:
Select the Select icon to enter selection mode,if it is not ready activated,Drag the Edge Fillet icon from the toolbar onto a face of the pad.
To Drag and drop command onto objects:
Select the Select icon to enter selection mode,if it is not already activated.
Select an object (eg.Fillet) and copy it to another location on the same part
DISPLAYING PROPERTIES
DISPLAYING AND EDITING GRAPHIC PROPERTIES.
Edit -> properties command or properties command in the contextual menu.
The graphic properties available for editing are:
Fill Color (colors the current object) and transparency
Edge Color,Linetype and Weight.
Line and Curve color,Linetype and Weight
Point color and Symbol.
Show and Pick attributes.
Manipulating objects
PRE SELECTION NAVIGATOR
Tools->options->general->navigator->Display the pre selection navigator after.......seconds.
The spinner sets the amount of the time,in second,which elapses before the pre selection navigator appears after pointing at an object using the 'select command'.The following diagram graphic selection tools features.
Click the up arrow to navigates "in -depth".Click the cicrcle in the centre to validate your selection and exit the preselection navigator.
